This preliminary stage is for us to review:The land survey
Here is where the magic begins, and we establish the working foundations!
In this 1st architectural design stage, we will work on:Masterplan of the project Concept building layout Concept building form Floor plans Materiality 1 Physical scale bamboo model per building @1:100
This is the most exciting stage where you will get an initial feeling of the building's shape, inspiration, and spatial organization.
In this 2nd architectural design stage, we will work on:
Plans, Sections, Elevations @ 1:100m or 1:50m as needed Three Computer Renderings per building Physical Structural bamboo model @ 1:50m
This stage is where all details take their final shape, from building facades to main structural joints & final roof shapes.
At the end of this stage, we involve a variety of consultants depending on the scope of the project, most frequently these consultants are the Structural engineer, Landscape architect, Interior Designer and Stormwater engineer.
In this 3rd and final architectural design stage we will work on:
Bidding Set (drawings issued to contractors for bidding the job)
Construction Documents Set (finished drawings with all its details)
The goal of this stage is to create the full set of building drawings that the contractor will use to build.
The Filing Set (documents/drawings needed for government approval) would be done by an external consultant.
Once the design stage is finished, we will support you:
Interviewing general contractors Respond to RFI (request for information) by potential contractors Comparing Bids Choosing contractors
The goal of this stage is to guide you and support you when choosing the right builders for your project.
Once the building stage has begun, we will support you with:Site visits to review the building process.
Respond to RFI (request for information) by contractors.
The goal at this stage is to ensure the delivery of an aesthetically and structurally sound architectural result.
