Kaymana Hotel Sanctuary Shaped by the Ocean

Philosophy

Ocean in Motion emerged from the intention to capture the essence of Bali’s southern coast, where the ocean is never static but constantly shifting, evolving, and reshaping the surrounding landscape.

The project was designed for give a living experience that reflects the dynamic qualities of water as the fluidity, rhythm, and transformation. The concept came to life by the emotional experience of being near the ocean, and bring that feeling of movement, freedom, and connection to something much larger than ourselves.

Ocean essence

How can we design a space that not only immerses us in beauty, but also awakens a deep sense of responsibility toward the ocean?

We believe responsibility grows from connection. Through passive design, material longevity, and spaces that evolve with the elements, Kaymana coexists with its environment. Throughout the project, the presence of water activate a sense of emotion and discovery.

Architectural Sanctuary

Guided by the essence of Uluwatu, every square meter was designed with intention. By choosing not to crowd the site, more than half the space around 1,000 m² remains a naturally wild and preserved landscape.
