Part of Bumi Cinta’s quiet tribute to the serene beauty of Les, Bali, the Bungalows embody a harmony with their natural surroundings. Elevated lightly on stone foundations, the structures rise above the ground in harmony with the landscape, opening to the rhythms of the ocean, valley, and sky. Guided by Bumi Cinta’s spirit of simplicity and respect for nature, they invite stillness and connection through both form and material.
The design draws inspiration from the jungle canopy, where openness and shelter coexist. Built primarily from bamboo and clad with recycled wood shingles, the bungalows embrace a material palette that is simple, durable, and deeply connected to place. Their curving forms and open-plan layout dissolve the boundary between inside and outside, framing views of the trees and the sea while inviting natural light and breezes through the interior.
Staying in the bungalows is an immersive experience. With open fronts that flow directly into the surrounding greenery, guests wake to birdsong, feel the air move freely through the space, and rest under the sheltering bamboo arcs. The combination of light structure and grounded stone creates a setting that is both protective and expansive, allowing each guest to feel part of the living landscape.
