Leaf Villa

Leaf Villa was designed as a hotel villa, its shape inspired by the fluidity of a leaf resting lightly on bamboo pillars and conceived as a space of balance and serenity.

The villa has an oval floor plan measuring 60 m². At the front, a glass-enclosed bedroom opens completely onto the surrounding landscape, accessed via a wooden terrace that extends outwards. Towards the back of the bedroom, a semi-open bathroom and dressing room are surrounded by a half-height bamboo wall, which allows natural light and ventilation to enter while preserving privacy.

The villa is supported by bamboo pillars that hold up a roof inspired by the organic curve of a leaf. The design is based on just three main curves, shaped using the traditional rep-rep technique of bending bamboo. From these, straight elements radiate outwards to complete the geometry of the roof. Responding to prevailing winds and framing the views, anchoring the villa in a direct dialogue with its surroundings.
